Grief, Loss, & Mourning

You are not alone

Those words may feel hollow if you are in the midst of acute grief, profound sorrow, or feeling unmoored by significant change. At the same time, grief is often made more bearable in context of connection. That is what therapeutic counseling can offer.

In our work together, you will find a compassionate witness and a safe anchor. There will be plenty of room to feel and navigate through painful feelings such as anger and guilt, hopelessness and isolation. We can explore skills that can help you cope with the intensity of emotion, as well as the thoughts and beliefs that accompany loss. This can be a place for you to experience your grief in a way that feels authentic and real - working at your own pace, and in your own time.

“We bereaved are not alone. We belong to the largest company in all the world – the company of those who have known suffering.”

Helen Keller
